New Site, New Era

If you’re reading this, you’ve obviously stumbled upon my blog.  Welcome to my site!  I’ve spent a great deal of time over the past few weeks ironing out the kinks to get this thing ready for prime time.  And ready it is.  Thanks to all who’ve helped out by giving me little tips and tricks to improve the code, and to all who have proofread and offered constructive criticism on the layout, theme, etc.  A big thanks also goes out to Atlanta’s Randy Garcia for helping me to create, customize, and publish this site.  Please head on over to his site, check out his portfolio, and give him a shout if you are in need of web design and other creative services.

So that covers the “New Site.”  Why is this a “New Era?”  I’ve never been much of a writer.  I read concert and record reviews and I think to myself, “Where do these guys come up with these words?  I could never do that.”  Well, I’m going to try.  I’ll be using this blog to post the photos of concerts I shoot.  But who wants to read a blog of concert photos without at least some brief description of the show?  So what the hey.  I’ll be reviewing — even if only in brief — the shows I post here, including extensive shooting notes.  So keep an eye on this site to follow the exciting adventures of Ken Lackner Photography.
